Women in Engineering Program-University of Maryland

Camp Sea Lab

Johns Hopkins University, Center for Talented Youth

Roswell Park Cancer Institute (Summer Research Program for High School Students) The program offers summer research experiences to high school students that just completed their junior year. The program prepares student for graduate and undergraduate studies in science. The students will conduct a research project in molecular-cellular biology, genetics, immunology, biophysics, biochemistry, pharmacology, or bioinformatics. Stanford University Mathematics Camp (SUMAC)
Brings mathematically talented and motivated high-school students from across the United States, and from around the world, to Stanford University for four weeks of serious mathematical pursuits. Website:


Summer Science Program in Astronomy or Biochemistry
Operating since 1959, the Summer Science Program (SSP) is designed for academically gifted students interested in astronomy or biochemistry.  It is a 39-day residential enrichment program designed to challenge and inspire highly gifted high school students (rising seniors) from around the world. Seacamp Association, Inc.
Seacamp is a Marine Biology/SCUBA summer camp for teens 12-17 located in the beautiful Florida Keys. Our tropical location on Newfound Harbor in the lower Keys is just minutes from the only living coral reef in the United States. Just 30 miles east.

NIAHD Pre-Collegiate Summer Program in Early American History
The National Institute of American History and Democracy (NIAHD) is offering a summer program where students can earn college credits and learn early American history on-site through the use of historic places, including surviving structures, archaeology sites, and museums.  Students will participate in daily discussion seminars to analyze readings written by acclaimed historians, and will expand their writing skills in online journals as they compare and contrast historic sites with Historians' interpretations.  Students will live in a dormitory and experience campus life under the guidance of a large William and Mary Staff.


Oxbridge Academic Programs

Programs in Oxford, Cambridge, Paris, Montpellier, and Barcelona offer students currently in grades 9-12 the chance to challenge themselves intellectually, both in traditional disciplines, such as Art History, Literature, Politics and Economics, Drama, Creative Writing, Speech and Debate, as well as less commonly offered subjects, such as Global Medicine, International Law, Business and Finance, Architecture, and Filmmaking.  Programs in France and Spain offer language courses at every level. University of Virginia’s Student Summer Academy

The Student Summer Academy gives students the opportunity to gain inside access to key policy and media experts and discuss and debate current issues with peers from schools nationwide. Students earn college credit from the University of Virginia., 800-256-7387

UC Berkeley Academic Talent Development Program

Offers challenging summer classes for K-11 students. ATDP courses offer students a chance to gain in-depth knowledge of the subjects that interest them. Taught by outstanding university, public, and private school instructors, our classes are designed to engage our students' hearts as well as their minds. Admission is based on the student's overall academic profile. Boston University Summer Programs

High School Honors: Six week program offering undergraduate courses, earning students up to eight college credits. Summer Challenge: Two-week residential program in various fields. Earns students two credits. Summer Preview: One-week program in various fields.

Gifted Education Resource Institute

Centered at Purdue University, GERI is an innovative center dedicated to the discovery, study, and development of human potential. Barnard College - Columbia Univ. Summer in New York City

Programs for rising high school juniors and seniors. 1) Liberal Arts Program: Two courses from a variety of topics, four weeks. 2) Liberal Arts Intensive:  One course from a variety of topics, one week. 3) Young Women’s Leadership Institute: Class in woman’s studies and workshops on leadership, 9 days. 4) Dance in the City: Learn about dance from four different perspectives: as a scholar, as a dancer, as a choreographer, and as an audience member, 10 days. 5) Entrepreneurs-in-Training:  Courses for this program range from Developing a Business Idea to Getting Funded and include three site visits to start-ups in New York. Students will work in groups as they develop their own ventures, build public speaking skills, and ultimately pitch their ideas to mentors, staff, judges, and fellow students, 10 days.

The Summer Institutes provide an opportunity for these students to enrich and accelerate their academic pursuits and to meet other students who share their interests and abilities. The Indiana State University Summer Honors Program is an academic program for talented high school students.


Junior Statesmen Summer Schools and Symposia

The Junior Statesmen Foundation offers Summer Schools at Georgetown, Princeton, Yale, Stanford, and elsewhere for students interested in politics and government. Students take college level courses in Political Science and Speech Communication.  Website:


Phillips Academy Summer Session

UConn Mentor Connection

UConn Mentor Connection is a residential enrichment program held during the summer on the Storrs campus of the University of Connecticut, serving students entering the last two years of high school. Northfield Mount Hermon

NMH Summer Session students come from all over the U.S. and the world, and they each have their own goals. Computer Science and Technology CAMPS


Berkeley CYBEAR Program

CYBEAR provides San Francisco Bay Area students entering grades 9-11 with a six-week summer curriculum that exposes them to computer science, engineering, and cyber security. Students learn the beginning principles of cyber security by gaining an understanding of computer hardware and networking, managing their digital footprint and protecting their privacy, and developing skills in Python programming. Otis College of Arts and Design Continuing Education Division
