Donations may be directed towards a variety of funds: Academic programs, music and arts, student enrichment—areas of greatest need or interest to you. This flexibility allows contributions to reflect priorities while making an impact at UHS.

Contributions to our General Fund directly support our UHS student programs and helps us reach our annual $300K goal. Every gift is tax-deductible. You’ll receive a receipt with our Tax ID for your records. Donations can be one-time or recurring with flexible start and end dates.

UHS is committed to maintaining one of the most beautiful and inspiring facilities on the Fresno State campus. Each year, we invest in targeted projects that keep our learning environment functional and pristine in an effort to enhance the campus our students call home.

To sustain our unique and transformative music program, we actively raise funds in support of the UHS Music Department. These funds provide instruments, supplies and support travel to competitions and performances that inspire excellence and showcase student talent.

Our highly competitive program challenges students to think critically, collaborate, and excel across disciplines. Donor support helps fund competition travel expenses and rigorous curriculum materials, giving students the tools to succeed at the highest levels.

Our Speech & Debate program develops confident, articulate leaders while challenging students to think critically and perform at their best. Donor support helps cover competition travel expenses, curriculum costs, and resources students need to compete and excel.

Our signature annual event celebrates students’ musical and performative talent. Donor support brings it to life, funding production and program enhancements that inspire both students and the community. Sponsors receive recognition through the event’s program ads.

Questions?

  • Yes. University High School is a California public charter school. Donations are generally tax-deductible as charitable contributions under federal law. We recommend consulting your tax advisor regarding your specific situation.

  • UHS does not issue tax forms such as 1098-T or 1099 for donations.

    UHS provides written acknowledgment for donations in accordance with federal IRS guidelines. Donors who wish to receive a tax acknowledgment should ensure accurate contact information is provided at the time of donation.

  • Acknowledgment letters / receipts are automatically via email for online donations.

    Checks delivered to UHS are manually entered into our donation platform and receipts are generated by email/mail within a few weeks of receiving your gift.

    If you have not received your letter, please contact our Development Director.

  • If we do not have your contact information, we may be unable to send a receipt. Please reach out to us so we can assist you.

  • No action is required. We appreciate your support!
